The best archtop guitars were made in the 1950’s and 1960’s. Guild A 500, and A350 archtops were among the finest and had that great vintage tone that you just can’t find in new guitars today. This A500 has a beautifully flamed C shape comfortable neck that I can only describe as “rock Maple”with a nut width pf 1.70″ and 2.06″ at the 12th fret with string spacing at the bridge of 52.76” which is wider than mostly all Guild A500 archtops.

Welker Carved 17″ archtop 2 1/2″ in depth, with ebony fingerboard, fretboard, and bridge. 25 1/2″ scale, in good condition with some small lacquer cracks. Nice wider fretboard, 1.78″ at first fret and 2.1″ at 12th fret. Very light and comfortable to play. Great American made archtop.
