This Monarch 17 has a set Humbucker pickup, just like the Wes L5.  have also been dressed up with a solid flamed maple back, tri-color sunburst,  made for the performing musician. Great Fat Jazz tone at an affordable price

“These custom Monarchs have also been dressed up with a solid flamed maple back, tri-color sunburst, volume and tone added to the pick-guard and a set Humbucker available on the 17 model, and added and a smaller 16 model with a set Humbucker made for the performing musician.”

The Peerless MONARCH HB features a 17″ all solid arched spruce top and a solid maple arched back and rosewood fretboard, bridge, pickguard, and tailpiece. This is the working man’s archtop with a great solid wood sound at a very affordable price. It has one full size set humbucker pickup and one small soundpost positioned under the bridge to eliminate most feedback issues but still deliver the clarity and tone of the best archtops. This model features a routed set humbucker, Mother of pearl fretboard inlays and bone nut.
