Ibanez lawsuit guitar as played by the famous Gibson Howard Roberts. One pickup, three control knobs, trapeze tailpiece, block inlays, 24 3/4″ scale length, oval sound-hole noted for it chunky jazz tone, This Wine guitar has a classy Florentine cutaway, a 16” lower bout and a trapeze Brass tailpiece. It’s loaded with a single low-output floating full size humbucker that’s controlled by a master volume with separate bass and treble controls. Other tasteful appointments include the colorful vine headstock inlay, slotted inlays, and a tortoise pickguard. It features a two-piece book matched ‘flamed’ maple top with a rare oval sound-hole decorated with six black & white rings. One-piece stained maple neck with a nice, nut width of 1 11/16 inches, a scale length of 24 3/4″ and a very comfortable medium D profile neck . Bound ebony fretboard with inlaid ‘slotted-block’ pearl position markers. Black faced, multi-bound headstock. Black over white plastic bell-shaped, truss rod cover secured by three screws. The body of the guitar has three-ply binding on the top and single-ply binding on the back. Individual Ibanez Artist’ tuners with bell-shaped metal buttons, original Ibanez bridge with inlays. It has a single Ibanez full-size floating humbucking pickup with punchy output. All hardware gold-plated. The original tortise shell -style pickguard is in exceptional condition for its age. There is minimal playing wear to the frets but absolutely no neckwear
This guitar is in very good condition for it’s age, and n very clean. The knobs may have been replaced but otherwise it’s all original! Includes a non-original hardshell case.
