This GAGNON DeVant Imperial is the top of the line archtop sn 08808 and features European spruce top and big leaf maple body wood. The neck is three piece North American hardwood. 18” body, 3 1/8th rim depth. 25 1/2” scale. Nut width, 1.78” Ebony bridge, tailpiece and fretboard. Gold Schaller tuners with ebony buttons. A floating Kent Armstrong handmade pickup with adjustable poles is attached to the pickguard.The elongated bound pickguard features a volume pot and tone control. The guitar is finished in a honey blonde nitrocellulose lacquer. If you look closely at the spruce top is gorgeous, it almost appears to be flamed, which is called silking, and only found in aged spruce. Bill always used the best quality woods he could fine.
