Product Description
Engel Archtop guitars are a hybrid semi hollow beautifully crafted, extremely evenly responsive instruments; the neck is especially comfortable to play, and all of this with no feedback problems. The guitar is completely hollow, except the center is fitted with a 3” x4” block under the stop tail piece, which differs from a true semi hollow that has a full block running from the tail block to the neck block. A versatile jazz guitar that produces warm, fat tone and can also be played at higher volumes with louder rhythm sections. The Engel guitar does just that. The tone is fat, rich, warm, with tons of sustain with twoSeymour Duncan 59 humbucker pickups.
This guitar has great playability and tone and is extremely affordable due to all the lacquer cracks in the finish, which all run very symmetrically in the exact same direction from the tailpiece to the neck. Engels sell in the $3000- $4000 range, but this one is specially priced at $2250. If you are a player looking for a greta guitar at a super price, don’t let this one get away!
