This 1939 Spruce and Walnute Broadway is a superb model of the old Epiphones, with the chunky full tones that they were known for. Undoubtably the best comping archtop ever made. With a Black walnut back and a handcarved, quartersawn bookmatched solid spruce top this archtop produces a tone that is distinctly more brilliant with more warmth than ordinary maple bodies.
