This Upgraded D’Angelico EXL-1 made for the USA is one of the rare DA’s that we have ever seen with a wider neck. The maple neck is 1.72″ at nut and 2.10″ at the 12th fret. The depth measures 0.83″ at the 3rd fret and 0.88″ at the 9th fret, making it extremely easy to play all the complex jazz chords. Also find a volume and a tone mounted on the pickguard (normally on a volume pot is standard. Another upgrade is the Dearmond floating pickup with adjustable poles to fully balance the one of each string.
