Product Description
NEW AR680CE Absolutely the best Pisano made, but the most costly to make. We believe these will be the last Pisano 680 models made by Eastman because of the difficulty and cost to procure the mahogany. Great clarity and woody tone from the spruce top and great warmth from the carved mahogany back and sides.

World renowned jazz guitarist John Pisano personally designed his signature model archtop guitar from top to bottom. Working closely with Eastman craftsmen, John included all of the features and performance he ever wanted in a guitar. John also collaborated with noted pickup designer Kent Armstrong to create a custom humbucking pickup that captures the complete tonal spectrum of John´s creation. The result is a magnificent instrument that sounds as glorious plugged in as it does acoustically.
GnJ sold this guitar almost 15 years ago and still is in new condition, and looks and plays better than ever! Original frets with no wear! The finished product is one of Eastman’s best performing Jazz guitars. The ebony fretboard is seamlessly finished at the edges. The set Humbucker routed in pickup allows a player to perform with minimal feedback and a full fat warm jazz tone with the clarity and chordal note separation that you would expect from a full carved hand carved archtop. Responsive and gutsy are attributes combined masterfully in this fine instrument, which allow this instrument to be played with a full attach with a pick, or gently with the finger tips. This is one of Eastmans best guitars that can do it all!
