The Compact Classic targets at classical players and their instruments. Based on the Compact 60 power amp the Compact Classic benefits from an improved 2-way-speaker system, a more complex three band EQ with parametric bass and the use of the AER 32bit effects-processor with carefully designed presets for classical instruments.
All features combine nicely to more easily follow the finer tonal texture of a classical instrument throughout the full audio band, enhance the low frequency response without increasing the feedback risk and create beautiful ambiences that support the tone.
As many a pickup systems and their combinations are used to match the instruments the Classic offers a defined solution to all of those with its pre-amp presets.
Even though widely desired the ‘only one know’ approach does not work and specially for more demanding instruments there is no way other than to slowly familiarise with a little additional ‘technique’.
