The Peerless MONARCH features a 16″ all solid arched spruce top and a solid maple arched back and rosewood fretboard, bridge, pickguard, and tailpiece. This is the working man’s archtop with a great solid wood sound and clarity normally only found in expensive archtops, at a very affordable price. It has one frosted in full size humbucker pickup and one small soundpost positioned under the bridge to eliminate most feedback issues but still deliver the clarity and tone of the best archtops. This model features a routed set humbucker for that full fat tone delivered only by routed full size humbuckers., Mother of pearl fretboard inlays and bone nut.
Comes with its original Peerless case snd D’Addario strings, and professionally setup by our head luthier Jim Millinchuck who takes care of most of the top NJ Jazz guitarists. Jim has built guitars for Bruce Springsteen and many other famous guitarists.
