These Monarchs have also been dressed up with a solid flamed maple back, tri-color sunburst, volume and tone added to the pick-guard, with a floating or set Humbucker available on the 17 model, as well as a smaller 16 model with a set Humbucker made for the performing musician.

Product Description

 

The Peerless MONARCH features a 16″ all solid arched spruce top and a solid flamed maple arched back and rosewood fretboard, bridge, pickguard, and tailpiece. This is the working man’s archtop with a great solid wood sound at a very affordable price. It has one floating mini humbucker pickup and one small soundpost positioned under the bridge to eliminate most feedback issues but still deliver the clarity and tone of the best archtops. This model features a routed set humbucker, with volume and tone controls on the body just like a Gibson L5, Mother of pearl fretboard inlays and bone nut.
