Great 70’s Gibson guitar as played by the famous Howard Roberts. One pickup, three control knobs, trapeze tailpiece, block inlays, 25 1/2-inch scale length, oval sound-hole,The Wine guitar has a classy Florentine cutaway, a 16” lower bout and a trapeze tailpiece with Howard Roberts’ name stamped into the wooden inlay. It’s loaded with a single low-output floating Gibson humbucker that’s controlled by a master volume with separate bass and treble controls. Other tasteful appointments include the colorful vine headstock inlay, slotted inlays, nickel Grover tuners, and a tortoise pickguard.
This guitar is in very good condition for it’s age, with normal signs of use including finish checking, surface scratches, and scattered dings. But it’s still very clean. The knobs may have been replaced but otherwise it’s all original! Includes a non-original hardshell case.
