Best Price Guarantee

Our goal at Guitars ‘n Jazz is to find you the best possible instrument that not only matches your personal requirements and play-style, but is also a guitar that you enjoy playing and look forward to picking up.

We strive to price our instruments as competitively as possible in order to give our customers the best possible value for their dollar. And as a guitarist myself I would never sell an instrument that didn’t live up to my own high standards and expectations.

All of our instruments are thoroughly inspected, tested, professionally set up, and carefully packed for shipment. And all instruments are sold with our 72 hour satisfaction guarantee.

We encourage you to call us for the best price possible. We routinely have demos, closeouts, blemishes, and used instruments available for purchase. And if you happen to find a lower price please let us know.

And please keep in mind that it’s difficult comparing various instruments on the Internet. Since many of our guitars come standard with upgraded woods and tone controls shopping by price alone won’t tell the whole story.

Since our inventory changes so frequently it’s best to call us to find all of your available options. With over 500 archtops in stock you can be assured that we have unbelievable guitars to fit any budget.

This Triumph is a superb model of the old Epiphones, with the chunky full tones that they were known for. Undoubtably the best comping archtops ever made.

Product Description

1951 Epiphone Triumph Regent model A412 sn #59748 —17 3/8″ Scale length: 25 1/2″ Nut Width: 1 11/16″, solid carved spruce top; solid carved slab cut maple back and sides; solid 5 piece cherry neck with walnut centerstripe; solid Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with diamond mother of pearl inlay; pearl column.  The Triumph Regent cutaway version of Epi’s most popular professional archtop, with great accessibility to the upper frets.  The Triumph Regent was introduced in 1949, and manufactured for only about six years. Accordingly the Regent is a much scarcer item than the non-cutaway Triumph, or its Gibson counterpart, the L-7C.
a handcarved 17″ cutaway archtop with a bookmatched solid spruce top and solid maple back; 5 pieceneck. Clear, open and forward, with great midrange, this guitar has the big chunky tone and bark for which Epis have been renowned.
The Tone says it all but these are the real deal. These old New York Masterbuilt Epiphones are serious musical instruments that throw the tone out like 20 feet and the tone becomes more orchestral and refined as it travels out from the guitar. These guitars were played by the most famous guitarists all over the world. I have heard Bucky Pizarelli say in our shop that some of the best guitars in the world were made by the Masterbuilt Epiphone company.
This one is all original (except for the tun-o matic) with the original Dearmond pickup attached to the top with volume and tone also attached to the top. Frets are in great shape with virtually no wear, and action is set at 4/64th at the 12th fret.
