Best Price Guarantee

Our goal at Guitars ‘n Jazz is to find you the best possible instrument that not only matches your personal requirements and play-style, but is also a guitar that you enjoy playing and look forward to picking up.

We strive to price our instruments as competitively as possible in order to give our customers the best possible value for their dollar. And as a guitarist myself I would never sell an instrument that didn’t live up to my own high standards and expectations.

All of our instruments are thoroughly inspected, tested, professionally set up, and carefully packed for shipment. And all instruments are sold with our 72 hour satisfaction guarantee.

We encourage you to call us for the best price possible. We routinely have demos, closeouts, blemishes, and used instruments available for purchase. And if you happen to find a lower price please let us know.

And please keep in mind that it’s difficult comparing various instruments on the Internet. Since many of our guitars come standard with upgraded woods and tone controls shopping by price alone won’t tell the whole story.

Since our inventory changes so frequently it’s best to call us to find all of your available options. With over 500 archtops in stock you can be assured that we have unbelievable guitars to fit any budget.

Product Description

  • This Elferink Excalibur 18″ has the most stunning rare Quilted Maple back and sides that we have ever seen on any of the thousands of archtops coming through our shop. It almost appears to be back lighted in the way it shines!
  • The Elferink Excalibur is considered the benchmark archtop guitar like the old D’Angelco’s, Strombergs and Gibson L5 en super 400s. Fancy inlays, multiple celluloid bindings and highest grade solid hand carved and tuned spruce top and maple back makes the Exclibur one of the most impressive guitars from my range. Even its re issue DeArmond suspended pickup has been designed to mount to the pickguard—keeping the top free and clean for superior tonality. The Excalibur is completely hand built ensuring an inimitable instrument of the highest caliber.Excellent Blonde 18″ Venetian Cutaway LOUD – Really loud Archtop for comping
  • Crafted exclusively for the discriminating jazz traditionalist, The Elferink Excalibur is considered the benchmark archtop guitar like the old D’Angelco’s, Strombergs and Gibson L5 en super 400s. Fancy inlays, multiple celluloid bindings and highest grade solid hand carved and tuned spruce top and maple back makes the Exclibur one of the most impressive guitars from my range. Even its DeArmond suspended pickup has been designed to mount to the pickguard—keeping the top free and clean for superior tonality. The Excalibur is completely hand built ensuring an inimitable instrument of the highest caliber.
  • Carved spruce top, carved QUILTED maple back and sides 25 1/2 scale, 1.75 nut, 2.16″ at the 12th fret,  3″ at the rims
  • Classic Venetian cutaway, re issue DeArmond floating pickup design
  • After careful scrutiny – It is beautiful and in excellent condition except for very faint longitudinal lacquer cracks parallel to the grain, on the top that are only slightly noticeable (shown in the last 2 photos). There are also some lacquer lines on the back, but much more subdued. There are also some small lacquer irregularities around the binding on the back which part of the build. It has some small impressions on the back, and one mark that appears to go thru the lacquer.   It has a full and wide neck. The frets show no wear, and it plays extremely well with responsiveness and clarity.
